November 07, 2025 | Volleyball
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Mississippi State volleyball concluded the regular season away matches with a four-set victory over Arkansas.
"Hard-fought win tonight for the dogs. We played well and were very locked in from the start," said head coach Julie Darty Dennis. "I think during set two we had a little stretch that we had to reset and figure some things out, but our defensive effort and service pressure were incredible tonight, and I'm so proud of this team for their response! Hail State!"
The Bulldogs battled hard for the first set, winning it 27-25, but the Razorbacks battled back in the second to tie things up. The Bulldogs finished the match dominantly, taking the last two sets 25-16 and 25-18 to win.
Lindsey Mangelson led the team in kills, picking up 21 over four sets played. This is the fifth time this season she has earned 20 or more kills in a match, and the first time she has earned zero attack errors in a game. She ended the match with a double-double, earning 10 digs and a .429 hitting percentage from 49 attempts.
Bernardita Aguilar was the next closest in kills, picking up 14 in the match, just one kill shy of her season
best.
Mangelson also led in points at 21.5, followed by Aguilar at 17.5 over the four sets played.
McKenna Yates led in digs this match, picking up 19. Cayley Hanson was the next closest, earning 13. Hanson also earned a double-double with her 47 assists earned this match.
