State Falls In Three Against Oklahoma

NORMAN, Okla. – Mississippi State took a straight-set loss against Oklahoma on Wednesday evening.
The Bulldogs move to 15-7 over the season and 5-7 in conference play.
Lindsey Mangelson led the team in kills and points in the match, earning 11 in both categories. Gha'Naye Whitfield-Moss followed closely with nine kills and 10 points over the three sets played.
Whitfield-Moss had the highest hitting percentage in the match, finishing with a .353 clip over 17 attempts.
McKenna Yates and Mary Neal were the only Bulldogs to earn double digits in digs, earning 11 and 10, respectively. Yates also picked up her second kill of the season in the game.
Cayley Hanson earned 28 assists over the three sets played in the match. She also led the team in service aces, earning two in the match.
Noella Obi led the team in blocks with four assisted blocks over three sets played. Ava Anderson picked up the only solo block for the Bulldogs in the game.
The Bulldogs will return to action to take on the Razorbacks in Fayetteville, Arkansas, this Friday for the final road game of the regular season. The match will be available to stream on SEC Network+.
