2022-24 (Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College)
In two seasons at MGCCC, McGruder appeared in 19 games making 23 tackles with eight PBUs. Following his second year with the Bulldogs, McGruder signed with Tulane in December of 2023 as part of their 2024 signing class. He did not see any action as a member of the Green Wave program and earned a redshirt.
