State Concludes Round Two Of Canadian Collegiate Invitational In Third Place

FOOT'S BAY, Ontario, Canada – Mississippi State men's golf sits in third place after Tuesday's second round of the Canadian Collegiate Invitational.
The Bulldogs are one of three teams to score par or better across both days of the tournament. State and Notre Dame are the only programs to head into Wednesday's final round with at least four players placed inside the event's top 20.
Freshman Finn Burkholder fired a round of 3-under 68 to enter the final round in a tie for ninth place overall.

Carded four birdies and an eagle.

Tied for first in the 73-player field in par-3 scoring at 3-under.
Gavin Isbell is tied for 14th heading into the final round of the tournament.

Carded a round of 1-under 70 with four birdies and two eagles, his best outing as a Bulldog.

Tied for the most eagles in the field with two.

Improved 11 places on the leaderboard to enter the final round in the top 15.
