Julia Lopez Ramirez Selected For 2026 Solheim Cup

STARKVILLE – Former Mississippi State golfer and current LPGA Tour member was selected to compete in the 2026 Solheim Cup for Team Europe, beginning on September 7 in Bernardus, Netherlands.
Lopez Ramirez will be one of 12 golfers to compete for Team Europe in the event. Lopez Ramirez was selected by Team Europe captain Anna Nordqvist as one of four captain's picks. This will mark the fifth consecutive Solheim Cup that a Mississippi State Bulldog has been in the event, as Ally Ewing competed in the last four Solheim Cup events for Team USA.
Since making her professional debut in 2025, Lopez Ramirez has made 40 starts on the LPGA Tour, making 27 cuts. She has finished inside the top 25 eight times in her career, including two top 10 placements. She earned a career-best T3 in the 2025 ISPS HANDA Women's Scottish Open at 14-under. Lopez Ramirez currently ranks second in the LPGA this season with an average drive distance of 288.5 yards per drive.
