FAIRFIELD, Texas – Alicia Bellendir holds the solo lead at 8-under par entering the final day of action at The Fin after firing off a career-best round of 6-under on Tuesday. The Bulldogs remain in third place as a team at 10-over par entering the final round of action on Wednesday.

Bellendir was one of five golfers to shoot under par in the second day of action and is just one of two golfers to have shot under par in the first two rounds of the event. Her round of 6-under was three strokes better than any other individual round on the course throughout the duration of the tournament.

Bellendir holds a five-stroke lead over Vanderbilt's Ava Merrill and Texas A&M's Vanessa Borovilos, who are both the only two other golfers who are under par entering the last day of competition.

This was Bellendir's sixth par or better round of the season and her second in the 60s this year. Her last round in the 60s came in her collegiate debut at the Boilermaker Classic this year, where she shot a 3-under 69.

The Bulldogs will conclude The Fin on Wednesday with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. Live scoring for The Fin is available at scoreboard.clippd.com.
