
Bulldogs In Eighth After Opening Round of Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational

FORT WORTH, Texas – Mississippi State women's golf finished 11-over par in each of their first two rounds of the Charles Scwab Women's Collegiate Invitational, as the Bulldogs sit in eighth at 22-over par entering the final day of action.
A pair of Bulldogs sit inside the top 20 entering the final day of action, as junior Avery Weed and freshman Ines Belchior sit in a tie for 14th at 4-over par. A solid day tomorrow would give the duo a top 20 finish, which would be the sixth of the season for Weed and the fifth for Belchior.
Freshman Moa Stridh is 7-over par entering the final day of action, three strokes behind Weed and Belchior and two strokes from cracking the top 20.
