Women’s Tennis Completes Their First Road Match

Greenville, SC – Mississippi State collects their first road victory in Greenville, S.C.
The Bulldogs defeated the Paladines 6-1 to start the week off before traveling to Atlanta for their second road match of the season.
State started the match on a high by collecting the doubles point with duos of Emma Cohen/ Thessy Ntondele Zinga and Athia Pitta/ Mia Robinson. MSU kept the momentum rolling into singles claiming 5 courts. Gianna Oboniye and Noemie Oliveras pushed through to win their tiebreakers on their respected courts. Carolina Troiano defeated Furman's Macy Hitchcock in two sets of 6-1, 6-1.
Freshman Ntondele Zinga and Robinson both earned another victory under their belt. The pair continue to stay undefeated this dual match season.
Mississippi State looks to continue its strong non-conference play under head coach Chris Hooshyar. The Bulldogs have compiled a 27–3 record in non-conference action across his time here at State.

• The freshman class is undefeated in singles this season, Ntondele Zinga is also undefeated in doubles
