FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Through 36 holes at the Mason Rudolph Championship, the Mississippi State Bulldogs remain in the lead at 17-under. All five Bulldogs in the lineup sit inside the top 20 entering the final round of action.

The Bulldogs were one of two teams to shoot under par in the second round, matching Baylor at 1-under. When paired with a record-setting opening round of 16-under round, State holds a eight-stroke lead on second place Vanderbilt, who finished Saturday's round at even par and has a two-day total of 9-under.

At the top of State's lineup through two rounds is Samantha Whateley, who is in second place. She one-upped her 2-under opening round with a 4-under round in day two. The score marked the third time Whateley shot 4-under in her career, tying her career low round. She last shot 4-under in the Chevron Collegiate during the 2024-25 season, where she ultimately finished that tournament tied for third.

Izzy Pellot fired off her 31st par or better round on Saturday when she finished 1-under. Pellot climbed five spots on the leaderboard, as she was one of nine individuals to shoot under par on day two. Pellot will enter the final round tied for seventh at 2-under with five other golfers, including teammate Ines Belchior.

Avery Weed sits in sole possession of sixth place entering the final round of action. Weed shot 1-over par, which puts her at 3-under overall after firing a 4-under round in day one.

Moa Stridh rounds out the Bulldog lineup and sits 1-over par going into the third round. She will enter the final round in tie for 18th with six other golfers.
