Ntondele Zinga and Oboniye take on the ITA All-American Championships

CARY N.C. – Thessy Ntondele Zinga and Gianna Oboniye are set to take on the ITA All-American Championships to represent the Maroon and White.

Ntondele Zinga will begin her run in the pre-qualifying draw, which opens Saturday. The Bulldog recently earned her first collegiate singles and doubles victory at the Blue Gray Classic in Alabama.

Oboniye is slated to compete in the qualifying draw on Monday. The California native enters the fall ranked No. 56 in the ITA Preseason Singles Rankings after a standout first year campaign in which she competed at the top of MSU's singles lineup and finished in the ITA Top 50 in doubles alongside teammate Athina Pitta.

Competition begins with pre-qualifying rounds this weekend. A breakdown of play includes:

Pre-Qualifying
Saturday, Sept. 20 – Singles 160, Doubles R32
Sunday, Sept. 21 – Singles R80, Singles Cons. R80, Singles R40, Doubles R16, Doubles Cons. R16
Qualifying
Monday, Sept. 22 – Singles R64, Doubles R32
Tuesday, Sept. 23 – Singles R32, Singles Cons. R32, Doubles R16, Doubles Cons. R16

Main Draw is set to start Wednesday, Sept. 24
