Spencer McAnally returned to Mississippi State in July 2022 as Assistant Athletic Director for Fan Experience after stints at Clemson and Houston.

During his time with the Tigers, McAnally led the marketing team and directly oversaw football, men’s basketball and baseball. He guided the marketing and fan experience team to new heights that included record crowds in basketball and baseball. These efforts led the Tigers to winning NACMA Gold awards in In-Venue Student Promotion and Fan Engagement Video in 2021.

Prior to his time at Clemson, McAnally spent a year at Houston where he oversaw the marketing and fan experience efforts for volleyball and baseball.

McAnally started his college athletics career as Graduate Assistant at Mississippi State. During his time with the Bulldogs, he was part of MSU's NACMA Team of the Year in 2016, and was a finalist for the award in 2015.

McAnally earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from Mississippi State in 2014, and his master's in sport administration in 2016.
