Personal: Votteler grew up on a cattle farm in a rural town outside of Washington, DC. After attending the University of Tennessee where she worked as a student recruiting assistant throughout her undergraduate years, she began an eight-year career in collegiate football recruiting. She and her husband, Marc, have two boys, Elliott & Breck.
