CAREER: Walk-on who will be vying for the starting punting role in 2019 … Serves as MSU’s primary holder on special teams … Was thrust into action as the Bulldogs’ primary punter during the final four games of the regular season in 2016 and served as the backup to NFL Draftee Logan Cooke in 2017 … Owns two punts over 50 yards and five inside the 20-yard line.
2019 SENIOR SEASON: Played in all 13 games, serving as the holder on special teams
2018 JUNIOR SEASON: Appeared in all 13 contests, primarily severing as the Bulldog holder on special teams … Also made appearances as a punter over the course of the season … Punted a total of nine times for 235 yards … Longest punt of the season was a 47-yarder vs. Florida (9/29) … Landed one punt inside the 20-yard line … Averaged 36.1 yards per punt in 2018 … First appearance as a punter came at Kentucky (9/22), booting a lone punt for 36 yards … Served as the primary punter vs. Florida (9/29) with a season-high five punts for 181 yards to average 36.2 yards per attempt … Also saw time as a punter in conference play at LSU (10/20) and vs. Texas A&M (10/27).
