2023 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll2023 (Freshman)
Season: Appeared in three games for the Bulldogs, all off the bench… Collected one hit on the season… First collegiate hit came against Grambling on April 4… Picked up his first RBI in the Grambling game… Batted .250 on the season.
Arizona State (2/26): Appeared in his first game as a Bulldog as a pinch hitter making just one plate appearance. Arkansas State (3/21): Entered the game in the top of the seventh to catch for Hancock… Went 0-1 in the game. Grambling (4/4): Pinch hit for Highfill, he singled through the right-side scoring Hancock and earning an RBI, his first collegiate hit.
High School
Played under head coach Brian Krehmeyer at Wesleyan School… Was a part of the GHSA State Championship team, which set records in runs scored, RBIs, and wins…Was named First Team All-Region in 2022 and a Collegiate Baseball High School All-American… Batted .436 in 2022, driving in 48 RBIs and scoring 54 runs… Played water polo for Wesleyan for two years.
