Bulldogs Wrap Up SEC StarkVegas Showdown

STARKVILLE – The SEC StarkVegas Showdown came to a close on Sunday.

The Bulldogs finished the weekend 1-2 with a win against Vanderbilt. Senior Roberto Ferrer Guimaraes won two of his singles matches and two of his doubles pairings alongside Segundo Goity Zapico. Goity Zapico closed out the weekend in strong fashion with a win over Alabama's Theo Hegarty. The freshman duo of Luigi Valletta and Jacopo Borsoi combined for 3 singles wins throughout the weekend.

Auburn finished on top for the weekend, winning their matches against the Dawgs and Alabama. Alabama finished second with wins over Vanderbilt and State. The Vanderbilt Commodores rounded out the competition with a solid win over Auburn on Sunday.
