Volleyball Earns Multiple AVCA Academic Honors

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Mississippi State volleyball was named a recipient of the AVCA Team Academic Award, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced on Thursday. This marks the third consecutive year the Bulldogs have earned the AVCA Team Academic Award.
To receive the award, the program must have maintained a 3.30 or higher grade point average throughout the 2025-26 academic year. During the spring semester, the program tied the highest GPA at Mississippi State with a 3.82 GPA.
On top of receiving the award, the Bulldogs also earned the distinction of the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll, which puts them among the top 20% of GPAs in their division. This is the second straight year State earned the additional distinction.
