STARKVILLE – Mississippi State men's golf has added a pair of All-Conference performers in Gavin Isbell and Arth Sinha.
Â
"We are very excited to welcome Arth and Gavin to our program," head coach Dusty Smith said. "They have both proven that they can be immediate impact players in our program. Both guys are great students and are made of the right character."
Â
Isbell comes to Starkville from Samford, where he played his freshman and sophomore seasons. The Trussville, Alabama, native notched two top-10 finishes with a SoCon Player of the Week honor as a freshman before putting together a phenomenal sophomore campaign.
Â
In 2025-26, Isbell compiled seven top 10s and three top-five showings with a 70.72 stroke average, which ranked second in the SoCon. He placed inside the top 20 in 10 of his 11 events with a pair of runner-up finishes. He earned All-SoCon honors at the year's conclusion.
Â
"Gavin will bring us great experience and leadership to our young squad," Smith added.
Â
Sinha made an immediate impact in his freshman season at Texas-Arlington, where he was named First Team All-WAC. He earned a spot in the NCAA Bryan Regional after a wire-to-wire victory at the WAC Tournament.Â
Â
The native of Melbourne, Florida, put together four top-five finishes in 2025-26 with 20 rounds of par or better.
Â
"Arth will bring a lot of experience as a young player and has proven he can win at the collegiate level," Smith said.
Â
State will return to action for the fall season following a historic 2025-26 campaign that ended with the program's fifth NCAA Championship appearance.
