ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – Mississippi State continued its consistent play in round two of the SEC Championship, sitting in a tie for sixth after a second-round score of 7-under 273.Â

Today's score marks the program's second-best round at the SEC Championship, only behind yesterday's score of 271 in round one.

Ugo Malcor and Garrett Endicott led the Bulldogs with rounds of 3-under 67, Malcor sitting in 18th after day two and Endicott in 21st.Â

Malcor played another round of steady golf, carding four birdies and just one bogey – his only blemish through 36 holes. Endicott rebounded from an opening bogey with two birdies and an eagle, making the turn at 3-under and finishing with nine pars on the back side.

Dain Richie leads State through day two in a tie for 15th, firing a second round of 1-under 69 with five birdies. This marks Richie's fifth-consecutive round of par or better and his 10th this season.

True freshmen Jackson Skinner and Jackson Cook each carded rounds of even-par 70. Skinner sits in a tie for 37th after his second-consecutive par-or-better round while Cook is 66th for the event.
