NCAA Championships Marks Indoor Season Finale for McCloyen

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Mississippi State thrower Roury McCloyen will conclude the indoor season at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
The meet is hosted by Arkansas and will be contested on Friday and Saturday.
McCloyen will compete in the men's shot put, to be contested on Saturday afternoon. He enters the field ranked fourth in the NCAA in the event.
A native of Greenville, Mississippi, McCloyen is one of five SEC athletes in the event. He will compete in a field of the 16 best throwers in the NCAA.
This meet will mark the finale of a stellar indoor season for McCloyen. The junior has earned All-SEC honors, as well as two program records. He is the first man in program history to surpass 20 meters in the shot put and 19 meters in the weight throw.
