
Bulldogs Host Aggies For Senior Day

STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State Bulldogs return to Humphrey Coliseum to begin their final homestand of the season, beginning with the Texas A&M Aggies on Sunday. Senior day festivities are set to begin 20 minutes before tipoff, which is set for 2 p.m. on SECN+.

- Mississippi State dropped their last matchup in Gainesville at the buzzer, falling 66-69.
- Denim DeShields led the Bulldog offense against the Gators, scoring a sesaon-high 15 points and tying her career-high of four made threes on just six attempts.
- Jerkaila Jordan, Debreasha Powe and Chandler Prater all finished with 12, 11 and 10, respectively.
- The Bulldogs rank 28th in the nation and 6th in the Southeastern Conference with a 46.1 field goal percentage on the season.
- State is 12th in the nation and fourth in the conference with a +8.9 rebouding margin. They bring in 41.67 rebounds per game, which ranks 17th in the nation and fourth in the SEC.
- Madina Okot ranks third in the nation and leads the SEC with a 67.2 field goal percentage and is third in the SEC with 9.6 rebounds per game. She's finished with 10+ points six times in conference play, five of which came within the last seven games. In the last five game's Okot's averaging 10.6 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 0.8 blocks.
