What's At Stake
• Mississippi state enters Sunday in eighth in the SEC standings and a game behind 6-6 Arkansas and ahead of 5-8 Missouri and Kentucky.
• A win Sunday gives the Bulldogs a two-game advantage over Missouri, with two games to play.
• State needs at least one SEC win in one of their final three games to avoid being in the bottom four and having to play on the open day of the SEC Tournament on March 2.
• In the latest Bracketology released on Friday, Mississippi State was still listed as one of the "Last Four In" in the NCAA Tournament field. With the SEC projected to get at least eight teams into the tournament, it's safe to assume that if MSU finishes in the top eight, it would be possible that they could earn an at-large bid. Nothing is certain, however.
