2007 (FRESHMAN):
One of MSU’s two freshman signees and at 6-4 the tallest player on MSU’s 2007 edition...The lone Bulldog from the Lone Star State.
HIGH SCHOOL:
A three-year starter as a middle blocker/outside hitter at Lampasas (Texas) High School...Coached by Christy White and Quincy McDonald...Tallied 158 kills, 40 digs, 23 aces and 27 total blocks as a senior in 2006 en route to first-team all-district honors...Named to the academic all-district team all three varsity seasons at LHS...Honored as the team MVP and team’s best hitter in 2006...Recipient of the Lampasas HS Battlin’ Badger, Best Blocker and team MVP awards in 2005...Voted team’s best blocker and newcomer of the year as a sophomore...Member of the National Honor Society at the Lampasas HS Honor Roll...A veteran of three seasons of club volleyball, playing for the Georgetown (Texas) Volleyball Club, coached by Rafael Marcano, and the Round Rock Magic, coached by Shannon McAndrews.
