Appeared in 10 matches, seeing action in 19 sets…Made her debut at South Carolina against No. 13 Kansas (Aug. 30)…Recorded her first kill as a Gamecock against Colgate on (Aug. 31)…Finished the season with 15 digs and three kills.
2023 (Sophomore – South Carolina)
Sat out the 2023 season due to transfer rules.

Appeared in 55 sets across 18 matches, drawing one start…Ranked fourth on the roster with 112 kills and third on the team with 2.04 kills per set…Made her collegiate debut against Liberty (Aug. 26), where she totaled seven kills and two digs…Collected double-digit kills in three matches…In a pair of matchups against College of Charleston (Oct. 22-23), she collected 32 kills, including 22 in the second match, a career-high, en route to earning CAA Rookie of the Week honors

She was also a member of the Random Acts of Kindness Club and Purple Craze...Played club for the Triangle Volleyball 18 Black team under coach Logan Barber, where she was named an Ultra Ankle Class of 2022 Player to Watch and Prep Volleyball Club Watch List for the class of 2022...In 2019, Doherty was selected to the USA Girls National A2 Training Program.
