CAREER: Pitched in the 2009 and 2012 NCAA Tournaments . . . Finished 24-29 in four seasons with the Bulldogs, owning a 4.02 ERA with 296 strikeouts in 346.1 innings of work . . . At the conclusion of her eligibility, owned the fifth-lowest opponent batting average in school history (.238), while ranking second in strikeouts per seven innings (5.98), second in strikeouts looking (75), third in strikeouts (296), third in saves (8), eighth in complete games (24), 10th in innings pitched (346.1) and 11th in wins (24) . . . One of six pitchers in school history to throw 10.0 innings in a game . . . Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2011 . . . Her 6.47 strikeout ratio in 2010 as a sophomore was the fourth highest in a single season in the history of MSU softball . . . Threw 20 complete games and recorded 161 strikeouts as a freshman in 2009, both placing third in a single season in school history . . . 2012 Highlights: Led the team in opponent batting average (.167), finishing with a 2-3 record and a 3.32 ERA in 23 appearances (four starts) . . . From Feb. 26 vs. Michigan to April 1 vs. No. 3 Alabama, gave up a hit in one game out of 10 appearances . . . Received the win in the 9-6 win over Memphis in the final game of the 2012 Mardi Gras Invitational, picking up her first win inside the circle since April 21, 2010 at Auburn . . . The victory moved her into sole possession of 10th-place all-time in school history in wins by a pitcher . . . Allowed only one hit while fanning two in two innings of relief work in the home opener vs. SIU-Edwardsville . . . Pitched a season-high 3.1 innings and fanned a season-best four batters at the NFCA Leadoff Classic vs. DePaul . . . Pitched one inning of relief against No. 12 Michigan, striking out one Wolverine . . . Threw 2.1 scoreless innings as the starter in the second Bulldog Classic win vs. Columbia . . . 2011 Highlights: Named to the 2011 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll . . . Finished the year ranked eighth in career complete games (24), ninth in innings pitched (302.0), tied for 10th in wins (22), fifth in saves (6) and eighth in strikeouts (235) . . . Recorded two outs against Purdue on Feb. 27 . . . Pitched an inning of no-hit ball against Mississippi Valley State on March 6 . . . Tossed three innings against Kentucky, allowing two unearned runs and two hits while striking out four.
2010 Highlights: Made 20 appearances, drawing 13 starts . . . Tossed 74.2 innings, compiling a 5-8 mark and tying for the team lead with two saves . . . Paced the Bulldogs with 69 strikeouts and collected MSU’s fourth-highest, single-season strikeout ratio (6.47) . . . Threw five innings to win at Mississippi Valley State . . . Struck out the side to earn the save against Southern University (March 31) . . . Tossed a four-hit shutout and K’d a season-high nine to defeat Kentucky in the series finale . . . Earned her second save of the season in a win at South Carolina . . . Allowed a run and four hits while striking out five to earn the win as MSU completed a doubleheader sweep at Auburn (April 21).
2009 Highlights: Set the MSU freshman strikeouts record (161) and had the second-best rookie strikeout ratio (5.18) . . . Tied for third in single-season history with 20 complete games . . . Tossed 217.2 innings, the second-most by a freshman and fifth-most overall in school history . . . Collected a 17-16 record and tied for the SEC lead with four saves while compiling a 3.41 ERA . . . Won a rookie-record five-straight games to open the year, and eight of her final 13 starts . . . Earned Bulldog Round-Robin and Bulldog Classic All-Tournament honors . . . Beat Florida State as MSU won the Sunshine Classic title . . . Earned her first of two SEC Freshman of the Week awards after picking up a win over UAB and two victories over No. 9 Tennessee . . . High School/CLUB Highlights: Named EA Sports All-America First Team following a stellar career for Lissa Walker at Hueytown (Ala.) High School . . . Won 138 games and struck out 1,646 during her prep career . . . Named Alabama’s Gatorade Player of the Year and Alabama’s Miss Softball by the Alabama Sports Writers Association after guiding HHS to a third state championship in four seasons . . . Went 41-1 her senior season with a 0.57 ERA and 442 strikeouts in leading Hueytown to a 61-5-2 record and No. 12 national ranking . . . Named state tourney MVP and Alabama Sports Writers’ Association All-Classification Pitcher . . .
