FALL:
- Earned the highest doubles ranking of his career with partner Mate Cutura after claiming the 19th spot before the fall season
 - Won five singles matches during the fall campaign, including a four-match win streak to begin the season
 
SPRING:
- Earned his first dual-match victory at MSU in singles play after downing Alcorn State's Javon Yarbarough (March 7), 6-0, 6-0
 - Posted his first singles in win SEC action following a three-set victory over Juan Marino of Arkansas (March 23)
 - The win over Marino clinched MSU's win in Fayetteville over the Razorbacks and was Hunter's first match-clincher of his Bulldog career
 - Earned his second SEC win of his career in a three setter over Tennessee's Luca Wiedenmann (April 1)
 - In doubles play, the duo of Hunter and Mate Cutura earned a 12-11 record overall and a team-best 8-2 mark in SEC matches
 - The pair of Hunter and Cutura clinched five doubles points for the Bulldogs, including a a thrilling doubles clinch over LSU's 90th ranked foe on Senior Day
 - The tandem of Hunter and Cutura won two ranked doubles matches in 2017

 - Advanced to the semifinal of two consolation brackets (USTA/ITA Southern Regional & SEC Fall Classic)
 - Won two matches with partner Niclas Braun at the SEC Fall Classic
 
- Downed the No. 1 ranked duo in the nation, Florida’s Hidalgo and Watson, 6-4
 - Earned another ranked SEC win over 16th-ranked tandem of Redlicki and Micolani
 - Went 3-3 in ranked matches with partner Mate Cutura
 - Clinched six doubles points for the Bulldogs
 - Reached a season-high ranking of 39th with doubles partner Cutura on April 5
 - Earned a 9-8 record in singles outside of dual-match play
 - Owned a 6-4 record in three-set matches

- Attended Tyler [TX] Community College prior to joining the Bulldogs where he reached as high as No. 3 in singles and No. 1 in doubles in the ITA Junior/Coummunity College Men's Rankings
