Friday's Baseball Game Moved To 3 p.m.; Softball Game Time Unchanged
April 23, 2026 | Baseball
STARKVILLEÂ -Â Due to forecasted inclement weather in the Starkville area, Friday's baseball game between No. 15 Mississippi State and LSU has been moved to 3 p.m. CT at Dudy Noble Field. The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on SEC Network+.
Diamond Dawg Alley will now open 1:30 p.m. Friday.Â
The planned America250 celebration will still take place pregame, while the America250 firework show will move to Saturday night postgame.Â
No. 17 Mississippi State softball's game against No. 20 LSU will remain at its originally scheduled 5 p.m. start time at Nusz Park. Given the shorter duration typical of softball contests, the game is expected to conclude ahead of any significant weather impact.
Fans are encouraged to plan accordingly and monitor Mississippi State Athletics' official channels for the latest updates on both events.
