COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Mississippi State women's basketball dropped a tight contest to Texas A&M, 68-64. The Aggies were able to overcome a five-point deficit in the final ten minutes to take the victory.

Madison Francis scored 19 points in the contest, her 21st game in double figures this season. Francis led the team with two blocks, moving her season total to 80. She is two blocks away from tying the Mississippi State freshman record.

Francis also collected nine rebounds, two assists and two steals. She earned her 19 points at over a 50 percent clip from the field, finishing 9-17 in the contest.

Chandler Prater provided valuable minutes off the bench for State, finishing with 13 points and nine rebounds. The contest marked her 50th career game in double figures and 10th on the season. Prater also dished out four assists and earned four steals, which led the team in both categories.

Favour Nwaedozi earned her 13th double-double of the season with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Trayanna Crisp finished with 12 points, with nine of her points coming from beyond the arch. Before tonight, the Bulldogs were 6-1 in games where Crisp hit three or more three-pointers.
