STARKVILLE – Mississippi State women's basketball will travel to Austin, Texas, for the first time in eight years for a nationally televised matchup against the fourth-ranked Texas Longhorns. Tipoff for the contest is set for 1 p.m. on SEC Network.

- Mississippi State dropped their last contest inside of Humphrey Coliseum to the Florida Gators, 71-56.
- Freshman Madison Francis scored 20 points in the contest, marking the fourth time she has scored 20 or more points in a game this season.
- Francis also led the Bulldogs in rebounds (13), blocks (3) and steals (3). She knocked down a team-leading six free throws in the contest.
- Freshman Jaylah Lampley recorded a career high 11 rebounds against the Gators.
- Thursday's matchup was only the fifth time that the Bulldogs shot under 40 percent this season.
- Seven different Bulldogs have led the team in scoring this season.
- Francis has led State in scoring in eight games, the most of any Bulldog.
- The Bulldogs have had 5 or more players in double figures in eight games this season. 4 or more have scored in double figures in 15 games.
- Three Bulldogs average double figures - Francis (13.3), Nwaedozi (12.4) and McPhaul (10.2).
- Francis remains the SEC's block leader as a true freshman at 2.9 blocks per game, a mark which is second in the nation.

- Franics' 77 blocks are second in the nation and eighth all-time in a single season in program history. She needs five more to tie the freshman record at MSU.
- Favour Nwaedozi is one of four players in the SEC to currently average a double-double.
- Nwaedozi has gained 12 double-doubles so far this year and is averaging 12.4 points and 10.1 rebounds per game
