STARKVILLE โ Mississippi State soccer will welcome No. 6/11 Alabama to the MSU Soccer Field at noon CT on Sunday for the final match of the regular season.
ย
The match will air on SEC Network+.
ย
State is looking to snap a scoring drought that has seen it record two straight scoreless ties. The Bulldog defense has been stout, allowing just six goals in conference play. Against ranked teams, MSU has been even better, holding three top-25 squads scoreless already this year.
ย
Bulldog fans are invited to bring their dogs out for Pups at the Pitch day. Dog owners can pick up a free tug-of-war toy for their pet, but all pet owners must sign a waiver before entering the complex.
ย
ย
ย
Harrison Has It Handled: Jenny Harrison has entered the top five in MSU single-season history with seven shutouts this year. Five of those have been in SEC play, and only one prior Bulldog keeper (Maddy Anderson) has ever had more in a season.
ย
Tie Title: MSU has broken the school record with six ties this season, all in SEC games. Only six teams in SEC history have recorded at least five ties in a single season of conference matches.
ย
Road Dawgs: For the first time in school history, the Bulldogs were unbeaten on the road in the regular season.
ย
Scoring Drought: The Bulldogs have scored two goals in their last seven matches, and October was State's lowest-scoring month since October 2016 (1). MSU has not scored in 335:20.

Notables
Alabama has nine shutouts so far this year, and one more would mark just the third time the Crimson Tide has reached double digits in its history. Goalkeeper Madi Munguia also needs just one more to tie the single-season school record for an individual. Larkin Thomason was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Mid-Season Watch List, as she leads the team with 10 goals and 22 points, most recently scoring a penalty kick in the last match against Tennessee. Thomason previously broke the individual single-season penalty kick goals record for the Crimson Tide.ย
