STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State Bulldogs will face their third consecutive top 20 opponent in the form of in-state foe, #18 Ole Miss. Tipoff from Oxford is set for 5 p.m. with the game being televised on SEC Network.

Mississippi State is in the midst of a seven-game streak against ranked or receiving votes opponents, the longest streak they will face this season. Six of those teams are ranked inside of the top 20.
The Bulldogs dropped their last contest to #20 Tennessee, 90-80.
Kharyssa Richardson dropped a career-high 22 points in the contest along with nine rebounds.
Madison Francis also added 22 points with 13 rebounds and four blocks, earning her fifth double-double of the year. She is tied for the most double-doubles by any SEC freshman this season.
Destiney McPhaul added 14 points along with team-highs of five assists and three steals.
Through the first three games of conference play, Richardson is averaging 13.7 points and 6.7 rebounds, which are both above her season averages of 8.1 points and 4.8 rebounds.
Francis still leads the SEC with 3.1 blocks per game and 52 total blocks.
Jaylah Lampley is one of three SEC freshmen to average 10+ points per game on 50% or better shooting.
Francis and Lampley are the only SEC freshmen teammates to both average 10 or more points per game.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT – OLE MISS

The Rebels moved to 15-3 on the season after defeating #5 Oklahoma 74-69 in Norman.
Cotie McMahon leads the Rebels with 19.7 points per game. In Ole Miss' three conference games, she's averaging 21.7 points per game.
Ole Miss' three losses have come to #2 Texas, #15 Michigan State and NR Kansas State.
The Rebels are 9-0 at home.
