
Final Split Weekend Of The Season Up Next

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State track and field will compete in the final split weekend of the season, with the distance group competing at the Wake Forest Invitational, and the rest of the squad at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational.
Winston-Salem will see the distance group in the competition on Friday morning. The women's steeple squad, ranked No. 2 on the USTFCCCA #EventSquad rankings, will also begin competition. Brooklyn Quanz and Louise Stonham will look to improve on their personal bests set earlier this season.
Lauren Lewis will compete in her first 800m race of the season, competing in the invite section tomorrow evening. The day will close with the 5000m, with program record holder Naomi Jepleting and cross country record holder Gabrielle Boulay competing in the race.
The Bulldogs are back in Gainesville for the second time this season, prepped to compete against world-class talent at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational. The squad will be competing across six different events on the men's and women's side, with the day beginning in the women's 200m.
Jessicka Woods, program record holder in the 400m hurdles, will look to improve on her personal best in the event, set here two weekends ago. Kennedy Stringfellow, who sits at No. 11 nationally in the long jump, will compete in the collegiate section tomorrow evening.
The day will end in the women's 1500m, with Ramat Jimoh and Hayley Ogle competing.
The Tom Jones Memorial will be available to stream on the SEC Network+.
