STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State Bulldogs (7-1) will welcome the Pitt Panthers to Humphrey Coliseum for the first time in program history on Thursday for the annual ACC/SEC Challenge. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. on SEC Network.

NOTES:

Mississippi State won their third consecutive game when they took down the ULM Warhawks, 66-54 on Sunday.
Favour Nwaedozi led the Bulldogs in scoring for the third time this season after scoring 13 with seven rebounds.
Madison Francis collected a season-high 13 rebounds alongside eight points.
Kharyssa Richardson scored a season-high 11 points, which marked her second-consecutive game in double figures.
Madison Francis was named the Tamika Catchings USBWA National Freshman of the Week. Against Middle Tennessee on Tuesday, she scored a career-high 17 points with six blocks.
Francis' six blocks marked her second six block performance of the season, making her the only player in the nation to have multiple games with 6+ blocks.
Under head coach Sam Purcell, State is 44-6 in regular season non-conference play.
Inside Humphrey Coliseum, the Bulldogs are 26-1 in regular season non-conference play under Purcell.
Against ACC Opponents, MIssissippi State is 3-3 overall with a 1-1 home record under Purcell.
On the week, Francis averaged 12.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4.5 blocks.
Madison Francis is atop the SEC with 3.25 blocks per game. She ranks second in the nation and first among P4 conferences.

Georgia transfer Fatima Diakhate averages 11.1 points and 9.3 points per game on 67.1 percent shooting. She is the only Panther to start in all 10 games.
