
Three Bulldogs Named To CSC Academic All-District Team

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State volleyball placed three athletes on the CSC Academic All-District team in Cayley Hanson, Mary Neal and McKenna Yates.
Selected by Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC), the All-District and All-American program recognizes the NCAA's top student-athletes for their efforts both on the court and in the classroom.
Hanson, the starting setter for State in the 2025 season, is majoring in biological sciences and holds a GPA of 3.83 as a sophomore. The Deer Park, Texas, native was instrumental in State's success this season, earning 1,000 career assists and seven triple-doubles over the season.
Neal, a junior from Marietta, Georgia, has a 3.67 GPA and is majoring in finance. Neal touched the court in every match this season with 17 starts. She ended the season with 178 digs and 11 service aces as a defensive specialist.
Yates was the starting libero for State this season. Majoring in kinesiology, she has a 3.71 GPA as a sophomore. Yates appeared in 25 matches this season with the same number of starts as the libero. She picked up 372 digs and 18 service aces and tied for the second fastest Bulldog to achieve 500 career digs this season.
