STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State Bulldogs (6-1) return to Humphrey Coliseum on Sunday with a two-game winning streak after capturing the Bay Bracket Championship of the Emerald Coast Classic. The Bulldogs will take on the ULM Warhawks (5-1) with tipoff coming at 2 p.m. on SEC Network+.

NOTES:

Mississippi State won the Bay Bracket title at the Emerald Coast Classic with a pair of victories over Alcorn State and Middle Tennessee.
Madison Francis excelled in Niceville, as she put together a pair of 15+ point performances to secure the Bay Bracket MVP.
In the championship game, Francis tied career-highs of 17 points and six blocks.
Francis' six block performance makes her the only player in the country to have multiple games with six or more blocks.
She leads the SEC and is second in the nation with 3.3 blocks per game.
In the Championship game against MTSU, Chandler Prater and Favour Nwaedozi followed Francis, as both finished the game with 13 points.
Chandler Prater is shooting 87.9 from the charity stripe, which is the highest ranking in the SEC (min. 2.5 made per game).
Favour Nwaedozi has collected 10.0 rebounds per game, a number that ranks fifth in the SEC and in the top 30 nationally.
The Bulldogs are 25-1 in non-conference contests inside Humphrey Coliseum under Sam Purcell.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT – ULM

ULM enters the contest against the Bulldogs with a 5-1 record. Their last contest was a 62-47 victory against Lamar on November 23.
J'Mani Ingram leads the Warhawks with 10.5 points per game. She is the only Warhawk to average 10 or more points per game.
Four other Warhawks average 8 points or better per game - Marcavia Shavers (9.0), Asjah Inniss (8.5), Jazmine Jackson (8.5) and Keshunti Nichols (8.3).

SERIES HISTORY:

Mississippi State owns the series over ULM, as they have won eight of the nine contests.
The two teams last faced off on December 17 last season, where the Bulldogs left Monroe with a 78-70 victory.
Mississippi State has never lost to ULM in Starkville, as they are 6-0.
Under Purcell, State is 2-0 against ULM.
