Mississippi State has produced 52 players in the professional ranks this season, including 13 at the MLB level.

Three of those former Diamond Dogs made postseason runs this year - Boston Red Sox first baseman Nathaniel Lowe, Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff and New York Yankees first base coach Travis Chapman.
