STARKVILLE - After its loss to Arkansas on Wednesday, Mississippi State (5-18, 1-9 SEC) volleyball is focused on its matchup against No. 13 Florida (18-4, 9-1 SEC) on Sunday (Oct. 28) in Newell-Grissom Building.
The match will air on the SEC Network+ at Noon with Bart Gregory on play-by-play and Payton Harris as the analyst. Fans can also access the match via the WatchESPN app.
"We are happy to have this stretch of matches at home," head coach Julie Darty said. "It is always fun to be able to play in Starkville. We are looking forward to welcoming one of the top teams in the country to The Griss on Sunday. Every single time we step on the court, we are focused on the process of getting better. The quality of volleyball we are playing is much better than when we started the year, and that's what this first year is all about.
"We are growing up and growing together as a team. We are getting into a good rhythm out there and getting more comfortable and steady with our line-up right now, and that's really great to see how we are coming together and clicking at this point of the season. We are going to focus on the serve and pass game, and focus on being ourselves and controlling what we can on our side of the net. If we can commit to playing hard, maximizing our execution and minimizing our errors, I know that we will be proud of our performance."
