STARKVILLE, Miss. – A rainy afternoon couldn't slow down the 16th-ranked Mississippi State men's tennis team (10-3) as the Bulldogs earned a pair of 4-0 wins inside McCarthy Gymnasium to sweep Alcorn State (4-13) on Tuesday.
"We played all eight of our guys, so everyone was able to get some work in today," head coach Matt Roberts said. "I'm proud of everyone and the way they handled playing indoors. We developed our games and grew today and that's great heading into Thursday's match against Alabama."
