COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Due to rain sweeping through the College Station area, the conclusion of Saturday's contest between the Mississippi State Bulldogs (20-3) and the No. 5 Texas A&M Aggies (19-2) has been pushed back to 11:30 a.m. CT on Sunday, March 11.

The game will resume with the Aggies holding a 5-1 lead heading into the bottom half of the fifth inning. TAMU plated one run in second and then scored four in the fourth. The Bulldogs responded in the fifth inning after a hit by pitch walked in a run.

For the Bulldogs, starting pitcher Alexis Silkwood was still in the game. She threw 4.0 innings while striking out one and walking two batters.

The conclusion of game two will not be broadcast on the SEC Network or streamed through SEC Network +. Game three of the series is still set for a 2 p.m. CT first pitch on the SEC Network with Courtney Lyle and Cheri Kempf on the call.
