Logan Link joined Mississippi State’s Athletic Academic staff in November 2021 and currently serves as the Associate Director of Athletic Academic Support Services. In this role, Link oversees athletic academic counselors for all sports, serves as the counselor to men’s basketball and women's tennis and is also a member of the Athletic Academic Support Services leadership team.
Link came to MSU after serving as the Director of Football Academics at Utah, overseeing academic services for all football student-athletes. Prior to Utah, Link was an Athletic Academic Counselor for football at Mississippi State. Preceding his first stint at MSU, Link was the Assistant Director of Academic Services in Athletics at Eastern Illinois, served as an academic advisor in the College of Arts and Sciences at SIU-Edwardsville and was a coordinator of Student-Athlete Services at Delta State.
Link, a native of Lexington, Kentucky, spent two years as an undergraduate student manager for the men’s basketball program at Arkansas before transferring to Kentucky and serving as a student video coordinator for women’s basketball. He completed his bachelor of arts in education at Kentucky, with a major in psychology and a minor in history. He then spent two years as a graduate assistant for men’s basketball at Delta State where he completed his master of education degree.
He and his wife, Erica, have four sons - Augustus, Sebastian, Charles and Simon.
