Jackson played the 2020-21 season at Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia for Shane Oakley and the 2021-22 season at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus under Dean Burrows โฆ Started 13 of 16 outings for MUW where he posted 6.9 points and 3.0 rebounds per game โฆ Reached double figures five times headed by a season-high 16 points versus Belhaven (Nov. 16, 2021) โฆ Averaged 2.4 points per game over 14 appearances at Northwest Mississippi โฆ Scored a seasonโs best eight points at Coahoma CC (March 1, 2021).

Jackson prepped at Starkville High School under Greg Carter, who was a 1,000-point scorer and played on Mississippi Stateโs 1990-91 SEC Championship squad โฆ Team combined for a 56-3 record over last two seasons and won the 2019 and 2020 MHSAA Class 6A state championship โฆ Scored 16 points and added five rebounds in 2020 state finals โฆ Selected as a C Spire Scholar Student-Athlete in both championship contests.
