Thank you for your interest in the Mississippi State Cheerleading Program!
We are excited to offer clinics and an updated recruitment process for the 2027-2028 season, and we encourage all recruits to take advantage of these opportunities to prepare, grow, and be evaluated. Recruitment for the 2026-2027 is closed with all tryout invites sent out.

Updated Recruitment Process
Please review the updated recruitment process for the 2027–2028 season to be considered for a spot in the Mississippi State Cheer program.

Submit Your Recruitment Video
Recruitment videos will open August 1. At that time all instructions for filming and submitting your recruitment video can be found at hailstatecamps.com.
Attend a Clinic
Attendance at a Mississippi State clinic and an in-person evaluation are required to be considered for an early offer.
- If you are unable to attend a clinic, you may still be considered for in-person tryouts if you receive an invitation based on your recruitment video.
- Clinic dates will be released as confirmed. Clinics will always be shared on our social pages and hailstatecamps.com.
Early Offers
Select recruits will begin receiving offers starting January 2027.
- All offered athletes are still expected to attend tryouts and must perform at or above the level demonstrated in their recruitment video and clinic evaluation.
- If you do not receive an early offer, you are still very capable of making the team. In some cases, we simply need to continue to see growth and consistency before making a final decision. Please do not let this deter you from trying out—early offers are very selective and only based on open spots based on graduating seniors.
In-Person Tryouts
In-person tryouts are open to:
- Athletes invited through their recruitment video
- Committed recruits
- Current team members

All athletes are required to attend tryouts. Tryout dates will be set in early 2027.
Clinic Schedule & Tryout Invitations

Dates: Clinics will be held from June through March. Clinics for the 2027-2028 season will resume in June.

What We Do
Mississippi State Cheerleaders are an integral part of the game day and athletic experience. Our program proudly supports:

Game days on Campus – Cheering for MSU Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and more
SEC Tournaments & NCAA/Bowl Games – Traveling and representing MSU at the highest levels
NCA and UCA Nationals – Competing with elite programs across the country and the only D1 program in the country to compete at both in 2026.

Community involvement at local schools and assisted living homes. Serving others is a core value of our program.
