
Men’s Hoops Draws Georgia Tech in SEC/ACC Challenge; Announces 2026-27 Opener

STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State men's basketball team learned the first pieces of its 2026-27 non-conference schedule on Friday.
The Bulldogs will face a familiar foe in Georgia Tech for the third time in four seasons during the SEC/ACC Challenge on Wednesday, December 2 at Humphrey Coliseum.
State won last season's meeting 85-73 over the Yellow Jackets behind 25 points and 5 assists courtesy of Josh Hubbard in Atlanta.
The Maroon and White also will welcome Tennessee Tech on Monday, November 2 for its 2026-27 season opener in addition to Northwestern State on Thursday, November 5 and Alabama A&M on Monday, December 7 to Humphrey Coliseum.
