No. 4 MSU Adjusts Start Of Weekend Series With Lipscomb
March 04, 2026 | Baseball
STARKVILLE – No. 4 Mississippi State and Lipscomb have agreed to adjust the start of their weekend baseball series due to forecasted inclement weather in the Starkville area.
The series will now begin Thursday at 6 p.m. CT at Dudy Noble Field with gates opening at 4:30 p.m.
Moving the series opener to Thursday provides the best opportunity to complete all three games over the next four days.Â
Game 1 tickets will be utilized for Thursday's game and the date will be adjusted on digital tickets.Â
Schedule adjustments for Games 2 and 3 of the series are still being evaluated as both programs continue to monitor the weekend forecast. Updates will be announced as the forecast becomes clearer and plans are finalized.
The Diamond Dawgs are 9-0 against Lipscomb all-time including a three-game sweep of the Bisons in Starkville during their last meeting in 2023.
