TEAM NOTES
- Mississippi State dropped an 88-68 decision to No. 21 Arkansas to begin the second half of the its SEC schedule on Saturday at Humphrey Coliseum.
- The Razorbacks used a 20-2 spurt during the first half to flip to take a 29-13 lead with 8:48 remaining.
- State pulled within 37-30 late in the first half, but Arkansas scored the last six points of the opening half to extend the advantage back to 43-30 going into the locker room.
- The Razorbacks would maintain their double-digit advantage throughout the second half to close out the 20-point decision.
- State had its five-game winning streak over the Razorbacks at Humphrey Coliseum come to a close. Overall, Arkansas holds a 37-34 series advantage.
