Bulldogs Earn No. 3 Seed in ITA National Team Indoor Championship Draw

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State men's tennis is set to compete in the 2026 ITA National Team Indoor Championship, one of collegiate tennis' premier events, running February 13-17.
Sixteen of the nation's top programs will compete for the national title across two host sites: SMU's Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex in Dallas, Texas, and Baylor's Jim and Nell Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center in Waco, Texas.
Mississippi State, ranked No. 6 nationally, earned the No. 3 seed and will open the tournament against No. 23 ranked Florida on Thursday, February 13, at 6:30 p.m. CT. The Bulldogs and Gators will square off in a marquee first-round matchup featuring two top-25 programs.
With a win, Mississippi State will advance to play on Friday, February 14, at 3:30 p.m. CT, facing the winner of the match between No. 2 seed Virginia and No. 7 seed Clemson.
The two sides that fall in the opening round, will move into the consolation bracket and play Friday at 6:30 p.m. CT.
