STARKVILLE – Aniecia Brewster joined the track and field staff as the director of track and field operations, as announced by head coach Chris Woods on Wednesday.
"We are excited to welcome a highly organized, motivated, and dedicated professional to our staff in Aniecia Brewster," said head coach Chris Woods. "Their proven ability to manage day-to-day operations, combined with their commitment to supporting the success of both our student-athletes and coaches, will be an incredible asset to our program. I am confident that their leadership and attention to detail will elevate our Hail State family in every aspect, on and off the field of competition."
Prior to her time at Mississippi State, Brewster served as an administrative assistant for operations for the Jackson State cross country and track and field programs. Brewster has served in this position since 2019, helping oversee multiple SWAC champions, medalists and All Americans.
Following her graduation from Jackson State, Brewster served as a graduate assistant from 2017 to 2019, helping with the flow of practice and logistics for the program. Brewster competed for Jackson State track and field, where she was a three-year team captain, two-time most valuable player and freshman of the year.
Brewster also served as a youth summer track and field coach with the Mississippi Trackstars, helping oversee multiple athletes to the USATF Junior Olympics.
Brewster has earned three degrees from Jackson State: a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications, a Master of Science in Sport Management and a Master of Business Administration.
