
Bulldogs Earn Third Consecutive United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

STARKVILLE – For the third consecutive year, Mississippi State soccer has earned the Team Academic Award from United Soccer Coaches after posting a 3.62 GPA in the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.

A combined team GPA of 3.0 or higher across the full academic year is required to earn the recognition. State has earned the honor 14 times since the award was created and in seven of the last eight years.

State claimed the SEC Regular-Season Championship last fall and opened the 2025 campaign with a 4-0 victory in exhibition play against Mercer on Saturday. The Bulldogs will travel to Monroe, Louisiana, this weekend for a final exhibition against ULM.

The regular season opens on Aug. 14 at home against UT Martin. Kickoff with the Skyhawks is set for 6:30 p.m. CT at the MSU Soccer Field.
