Summer Dawgs: Summer Tournaments Keep 2025-26 Men’s Tennis Roster Busy
August 26, 2025 | Men's Tennis
STARKVILLE – Members of the 2025-26 Mississippi State men's tennis roster concluded a busy, but impressive, summer tour.
As a team, the group combined to earn 168 ATP points. ATP points determine a player's world ranking, which dictates tournament entry, seeding, and the ability to play in more prestigious events, such as Grand Slams and Masters 1000s. Points are awarded for advancing in ATP tournaments, with higher-category events like Grand Slams offering more points. A player's ranking is based on their best results from the past 52 weeks, with points dropping off after a year and being replaced by new points from subsequent tournaments. All rankings below are as of Aug. 25, 2025.
