Men’s Tennis Adds Vaksmann Ahead of 2025-26 Season

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State men's tennis head coach Matt Roberts has strengthened his roster with the addition of young Frenchman, Raphael Vaksmann.
Vaksmann has signed with Mississippi State from Paris, France and he will join the team for the 2025-26 season.
He boasts impressive career rankings with a career-best ATP Pro Ranking of 1414, a UTR rating of 12.91 and a French ranking of -15.
Vaksmann found success on Junior ITF circuit with a tournament win in 2023 at the J60 Hillegom Netherlands ITF Junior tournament while also being a two-time participant in the Roland Garros Junior Championship in 2023 and 2024. He reached the finals of five different ITF junior events and has notable Pro ITF victories over ATP #393 Matthew Dellavedova, #471 Thomas Laurent and #512 Stijn Slump.
Vaksmann is joining an experienced State roster that boasts a lot of talent and most recently advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament.
