STARKVILLE - Head volleyball coach Julie Darty Dennis announced the addition of former Mississippi State player Lacey Jeffcoat as an assistant coach to the MSU staff on Wednesday.Â

Â
"We are super excited to welcome Lacey back to Starkvegas," Dennis said. "She has been a huge asset at UT Arlington the past two seasons and is coming off an NCAA Tournament appearance last season. I'm very excited to work with Lacey and to see her join our staff and immediately elevate our program."
Â
Last season, UT Arlington went undefeated in conference play and took home the Western Athletic Conference Championship, the program's first conference championship since 2002. In addition to making an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2024, the Mavericks also had an NIVC Tournament appearance in 2023.
